Nokia today announced the extension of its ground-breaking Nokia Artuse Messaging Platform to support CDMA networks. The Nokia Artuse Messaging Platform is a comprehensive WAP 1.1 compliant solution that enables operators to create interactive, value-added WAP and messaging applications for mobile users.
"Nokia offers operators what few others in the
industry can: not only a WAP-enabled terminal, but also a complete WAP solution
that includes WAP gateways, customized portals, tools for WAP-based content
creation, security components, and systems integration services," says
Steve Ballard, Director of Messaging & Service Platforms, Nokia Networks.
"By expanding our Nokia Artuse Messaging Platform to include CDMA networks,
we now offer CDMA operators an open architecture platform for creating a new
revenue stream from value-added messaging services," he adds.
