Harvard Business School Club Of New York Recognizes Puma For Excellence And Innovation In Delivering Solutions For Mobile Professionals And Consumers

SAN JOSE, Calif. (2/7/00) -- Puma Technology (NASDAQ: PUMA), a leading provider of mobile device management and synchronization software, today announced that it has been named entrepreneur of the year by the Harvard Business School Club of New York (HBSC/NY). Brad Rowe, Puma CEO, president and co-founder, and Steve Nicol, vice president and general manager of enterprise products and co-founder, were recognized for their entrepreneurial spirit in leading Puma Technology to unparalleled success in the mobile computing industry. Puma was acknowledged for driving the adoption of handheld devices beyond the everyday consumer market into the corporate enterprise, as well as for launching its recent Internet strategy to provide consumers with ubiquitous wireless access to Web information across all handheld device platforms. Presented at the annual HBSC/NY Entrepreneur Awards Dinner and Conference in New York City on February 4, 2000, the award acknowledges outstanding entrepreneurial achievement and recognizes the accomplishments of growing companies nationwide. Nicol accepted the award on behalf of Puma Technology.
