Razorfish Enhances Mobile Site wap.razorfish.de

Digital Solutions Provider Strengthens Its Global Commitment To WAP Technology

Razorfish, Inc. (NASDAQ: RAZF), the global digital solutions provider, today announced the re-launch of its enhanced German Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) site, wap.razorfish.de. The site, which meets industry-wide specifications for technology useful in the development of wireless communication networks via WAP-enabled mobile phones, delivers the latest information about Razorfish. Among the services included in the site is access to the company intranet for employees, allowing them to check emails. The site also offers a current listing of job opportunities. "The new mobile devices presented at recent industry events such as GSM World in Cannes and at CeBIT in Hannover are sure to increase the use of mobile communications and services, making WAP research and development even more essential to the digital economy," said Alexander Franz, head of the Mobile Solutions Team of Razorfish's Hamburg office. "With the restrictions of today's physical devices, we are constantly challenged to define and distill our applications without detracting from the user experience and the demands of the digital consumer. This WAP site addresses all of these concerns and will continue to evolve as the technology evolves."

Razorfish enhanced the functionality of its site by relying on the strategies of its Mobile Solutions Team in its Hamburg office. Following the lead of the Razorfish global WAP initiative, and the launch of the Razorfish Mobile Solutions Laboratory in Helsinki in September 1999, this interdisciplinary team has remained committed to the research and advanced development of WAP solutions. "Globally Razorfish has implemented regional units to create and develop innovative mobile solutions," said Markus Wartiovaara, global head of Razorfish mobile solutions. "This interlaced network of global experts is dedicated to offering market defining mobile solutions to our corporate and operator clients."

"As with all disciplines at Razorfish, the user experience is the core concern in the field of mobile solutions," said Franz. "For our site we focused on accessibility, speed, and consistent functionality to ensure a positive and productive user experience. We used this effort to design ground breaking changes in mobile solutions that we will in turn offer our clients to help them win in the marketspace."
