SyberSay Announces Strategic Partnership for Development of Bluetooth Enabled Wireless Communications Products

   SyberSay Communications Corporation today announced it has entered into a strategic partnership and product development agreement with Taiyo Yuden Co., Ltd. of Japan.

    SyberSay, which is developing a wireless personal link interface between people and devices of all types, and Taiyo Yuden will collaboratively develop and market SyberSay products.

    SyberSay's wireless communications products, being developed for original equipment manufacturer (OEM) customers, incorporate patented technologies to comfortably link people to voice-based products anywhere, anytime and under any circumstances. The products utilize SyberSay's proprietary acoustics and wireless technology and interface directly with the emerging Bluetooth(TM) standard for wireless communications. The Bluetooth standard is supported by more than 1000 companies worldwide, including SyberSay's development partner Ericsson, as well as IBM, Intel, Nokia and Toshiba. The Bluetooth vision is to revolutionize wireless connectivity for personal and business mobile devices. Enabling seamless voice and data transmission via wireless, short-range radio, this new technology, coupled with SyberSay PersonaLink(TM) products, will allow people easy access to information through a wide range of devices, without the need for cables.

    The partnership agreement includes development funds and an equity investment by Taiyo Yuden in SyberSay Communications Corp. SyberSay and Taiyo Yuden will cooperate in development and manufacturing of the SyberPod, an innovative, next-generation link between people and devices of all types, defining the ICE(SM) standard of information, communication and entertainment. The two companies will also collaborate on joint marketing programs to develop additional partnerships and distribution channels for SyberSay products in Japan.
