TELUS Mobility and Davinci Technologies Inc. Announce Wireless Customer E-care Pilot

Davinci Technologies Inc., a leading developer of web-based customer care solutions, wireless applications and electronic bill presentment and payment (EBPP) products today announced it is piloting a suite of wireless e-care applications for TELUS Mobility. TELUS Mobility is evaluating these data services on its CDMA network and anticipates providing wireless e-care and other wireless data applications to its digital customers this spring.

"We are very pleased to be working on this important pilot with Davinci, an experienced player in the area of electronic bill presentment and payment, as well as other web-based and wireless customer care applications," said Pam Karnik, Vice President of Strategy, TELUS Mobility. "TELUS Mobility is proud of its track record of excellence in customer care. Going forward, this pilot will provide us with the ability to complement our traditional customer care channels, and offer a convenient, secure and personalized e-care experience for our customers."

As part of the pilot, Davinci provides the capability to allow leading-edge bill presentment and payment, as well as customer care applications on TELUS Mobility's data-enabled digital phones. The application enables its users to: access information from TELUS Mobility's website; securely view account balances; send and receive text messages using the handset's browser capabilities, as well as query roamer access numbers and feature/service descriptions.

"This is an important step forward for us," said Steven Rodin, President, Davinci Technologies Inc. "We believe our wireless software architecture provides the ideal operating environment for the pilot, with no need for any modifications at the client's site. Clearly, the big winners here will be TELUS Mobility' customers, who will have access to our cutting-edge information services."
