Visto Adds Wireless Access to Its Leading Personal Information Service; First to Deliver Mobile Phone Access to Personal and Corporate E-mail, Address Book, and Calendar

Visto, the premier provider of personal information and communication services on the Web, announced today the introduction of wireless access. This is the first time users of a fully integrated, Web-based personal information service have been able to access their essential information anytime, anywhere.

Visto.com's wireless service delivers the full functionality of its four most widely used personal information services: e-mail, address book, calendar, and tasks. When a Visto.com member checks e-mail through the wireless access, he can read messages and respond to them by voice or text and make a phone call to the sender with one click. Visto.com's advanced features even let members access e-mail from behind a corporate firewall from popular e-mail systems like Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Notes.

A Visto.com member can access and call any of the entries in his personal address book whenever it is needed. By using Visto.com's powerful synchronization features - features that work with popular address book applications like Microsoft Outlook and Palm Pilot Desktop - Visto.com's wireless service becomes indispensable for anytime, anywhere access. A member can also check his schedule and to do list, and receive reminders to his mobile Web phone.

"We've all been in situations where we really needed to check e-mail or look up a phone number while on the go," said Visto president and CEO, Doug Brackbill. "Visto.com literally puts this important information right at your fingertips. The launch of Visto.com's wireless access and the two key patents we recently received reinforce Visto's position as an innovator and leader in Web-based personal and group communications."

Visto.com's new capabilities are based on extensive work the company has completed using both Phone.com's and industry standard WAP (wireless application protocol) mini-browsers. Visto.com's wireless access will be released widely in the first quarter of the year. It is currently in beta with Visto.com members. To learn more about Visto.com's wireless access or receive advance notice of the wide release of the service, visit the company's Web site at www.visto.com or send your e-mail address to wireless@visto.com. All that is required to use Visto's wireless access is a free Visto.com account and a mobile Web phone.
