Bulletproof Releases First Java Rad Tool for Building Wireless Enterprise Applications for Palm OS and Windows CE --Pocket PC-- Devices

BulletProof Corporation today officially released version 4.0 of JDesignerPro, its acclaimed Java Development and Deployment system with groundbreaking support for building wireless enterprise applications for Palm OS and Windows CE devices.

JDesignerPro 4.0 is the first widely available RAD tool that allows virtually anyone to create wireless handheld enterprise applications with little or no programming experience. A free trial of JDesignerPro 4.0, can be downloaded from http://www.bulletproof.com . Multimedia training tools are also available at no charge from the same site.

Thanks to the efforts of the development team at BulletProof, JDesignerPro now provides the ability to allow Palm OS and Windows CE (Pocket PC) devices with wireless support to be used for much more than just email or web browsing. Since the beta was released in January BulletProof have improved the Virtual Machine for the Palm OS to allow enterprise scale applications to easily be run, even with the memory restrictions imposed by the Palm platform. In the past it was thought that applications over 64Kb in size could not be run on the Palm OS but with this release applications of any size may be built and have up to 256Kb of memory in which to run. This is easily enough for large-scale enterprise applications such as complex order entry or sales force automation.

Pricing for JDesignerPro starts at $395.00 for a developer seat that allows two simultaneous connections from a Palm or Windows CE device. Other pricing details are available at the BulletProof website.
