CBQ, Inc. and Chung Hua Wireless Internet Limited Plan Wireless Internet Network for China, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan With Permission Under Chinese Telecom Statute

CBQ, Inc. (OTCBB:CBQI) The E-Business Marketplace announced today that it has signed a letter of intent with Chung Hua Wireless Internet Limited to develop a wireless Internet network in Hong Kong and in cities in China, Macao, and Taiwan.

The companies are proceeding with plans with full permission under the Chinese Telecom Statute. Chung Hua Wireless Internet Limited is a registered Hong Kong corporation and an affiliated company of the Wanlitong Information Network (www.95960.net) based in Shenzhen, China.

The network will allow subscribers to request custom information on demand (IOD) from service operators who will provide content including stock quotes, weather reports, sports scores and updates, and travel schedules and reservations. Subscribers will also be able to send and receive e-mail via the Internet with a pocket-sized wireless terminal.

Wanlitong Information Network began distributing network-ready pagers in Shenzhen on January 1, 2000, and plans to roll out the two-way mobile information network with Internet access to 10 cities in China over the next twelve months. The company will continuously expand the network in additional cities in China thereafter.

"With the Chinese wireless market set to double in the next year, partnership with Chung Hua Wireless Internet Limited comes at a critical time," said John Harris, CEO, CBQ, Inc. "Forty-five million people are trading online in China. This network will allow them to do so conveniently while they are on the move."
