"We are very pleased to join forces with TDK to deliver unique Bluetooth solutions for our customers."

Keith Marsden, managing director, TDK Systems Europe Ltd, added: "IBM has chosen to work with TDK because of our innovation and technical expertise in wireless technologies. As one of the original founders of the Bluetooth special interest group, IBM has been quick to recognize the sheer potential of Bluetooth - we are delighted to be working with them to develop the technology for its next generation of mobile computing devices."
