iEntertainment Network Debuts First Wireless Game

    Wireless Content Targeted For Service Providers & Device Manufacturers

    iEntertainment Network (Nasdaq: IENT), a leading provider of online games and communities, announced today that it has launched its debut wireless game - Pocket Trivia.

    Pocket Trivia, which was developed internally, is the first in a series of new products to be created by iEntertainment Network's new wireless subsidiary - iWireless Games, Inc. The recently announced subsidiary will focus on the wireless industry and develop entertainment content for WAP enabled cellular phones and hand-held devices like the popular Palm VII from Palm Computing (Nasdaq: PALM) and the Rim Pager from Research in Motion (Nasdaq: RIMM).

    "The wireless space is a new frontier and we are aggressively positioning iEntertainment Network to take advantage of evolving revenue opportunities," said John Voorhees iEntertainment Network V.P. of Business Development. "By leading the industry and launching one of the first interactive wireless games in the world, we have signaled our intent to participate in this potentially explosive market."

    Earlier this week, iEntertainment Network announced that it had joined the Phone.com(TM) (Nasdaq: PHCM) Alliance Program. Previously, the company announced that it had signed an agreement with indiqu. As part of the arrangement, iEntertainment Network games will be included with indiqu's new "qu Vox" wireless package which is scheduled to ship later this year. "Through relationships with Phone.com, indiqu, and others in the wireless industry, we look forward to creating and delivering compelling content for wireless phones and hand-held devices," said Voorhees.

    The Pocket Trivia game can currently be accessed via Internet-enabled handsets, such as those manufactured by Nokia (NYSE: NOK), Ericsson (Nasdaq: ERICY), Motorola (NYSE: MOT), Qualcomm (Nasdaq: QCOM), Neopoint, Denso, and Samsung.
