Puma Technology, the leading provider of the essential software infrastructure for the ubiquitous mobile Internet, and Alcatel, a French telecommunication company, today announced a licensing agreement to incorporate Puma's Intellisync synchronization solution into One TOUCH(TM) 500 and One TOUCH(TM) 700, Alcatel's top product line of mobile phones, utilizing the Intellisync Software Development Kit (Intellisync SDK). Alcatel will integrate Puma's popular Intellisync engine into One TOUCH(TM) 500 and One TOUCH(TM) 700, allowing users to synchronize contact information, to do lists and calendars between Alcatel's phones and Lotus Notes 4.5/4.6, Lotus Organizer 5.0 or Microsoft Outlook 97/98/2000.

With the Intellisync SDK, companies can quickly build on the industry-standard Intellisync synchronization software platform, while taking advantage of Puma's patented Data Synchronization Extensions Technology (DSX Technology(R) engine) to support multiple handheld devices and applications.
