SmartServ Online Inc., a leading Wireless Application Service Provider (OTC-BB: SSOL) and Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation, an e-business and application management solutions provider (NASDAQ: CTSH) today jointly announced an alliance to offer mobile e-business applications. Cognizant is listed by Forbes as the "Best Small Company in America."
Under the terms of the alliance, the partners will use each others' support, technology, and other resources. SmartServ Online is a leader in wireless applications and hosting services. Cognizant is a leader in building, integrating and managing e- business solutions and has established competencies in data-intensive environments, including large-scale transaction processing systems and large databases with high availability on sophisticated distributed networks. Cognizant and SmartServ Online will provide comprehensive, industry-leading, Web-to-wireless e-commerce solutions.

The alliance outlines the following activities:
1. Both Cognizant and SmartServ will develop and deploy customer-specific wireless applications.
2. Cognizant will use the hosting services of SmartServ in its wireless applications, providing its customers with complete access to SmartServ Online Services.
3. SmartServ will use the broad implementation skills of Cognizant
to integrate customer-specific enterprise solutions into the SmartServ Network.
4. SmartServ will use the technical expertise of Cognizant in various areas of its internal systems.
