Available to Stockpoint's business customers and to consumers from the company's free technology showcase Web site, www.stockpoint.com, Stockpoint's new technology allows investors to access quotes and intraday charts on their Web-enabled cellular phones.
Stockpoint provides not only U.S. index and stock information, but also international data, making it the only provider to offer its clients and users wireless access to seven major markets and selected currencies and indicies from around the world. The company will now be able to offer its wireless products to its blue-chip roster of clients, including Barclays Global Investors, LookSmart, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter Online and US Bancorp/Piper Jaffray, and to businesses worldwide.
