ClickServices.com Enables Internet Sites to Go Wireless in 72 Hours Using XML

ClickServices.com, a wireless Internet applications and portal provider, will drastically reduce the time needed for Internet sites to become wireless.

Using eXtensible Markup Language (XML), a data format for structured document interchange on the Internet, ClickServices.com can launch wireless Web sites in 72 hours -- a fraction of the six month to one year time frame traditionally required.

Today, only a small percentage of the existing 3.9 million Internet sites have wireless capabilities. ClickServices.com is capitalizing on the growing demand for wireless Internet sites and targets new and existing sites of all sizes.

The Sports Network, an Internet site that delivers real-time sports information, was the first Internet content provider ClickServices.com launched into the wireless arena in the 72-hour time frame. As a result, mobile operators and Internet sites that use Sports Network's content can now provide their subscribers with up-to-the-minute sports information on any wireless device.

Using XML and ClickServices.com's Wireless Communications Platform, Internet content providers can give their customers access to a wide portfolio of multi-lingual wireless Internet applications and online content. Mobile users will be able to access the Internet using any legacy or WAP handheld device, including phones, pagers or personal digital assistants.

"With ClickServices.com's XML interface, we were able to launch our Internet-based sports service into the wireless world very quickly and seamlessly so that it could be accessed anywhere at any time," said Ken Zajac, director of sales for The Sports Network. "The wireless Internet has expanded our visibility and broken down barriers to access."

"XML allows us to provide our customers with immediate wireless capabilities virtually overnight," said Sundaram Natarajan, president and CEO of ClickServices.com. "In today's fast paced marketplace, companies cannot afford to wait to go wireless and now they don't have to."

To facilitate the growing demand for virtually instant wireless capabilities, ClickServices.com has launched the Click&Go Wireless Alliance Program that provides key information on how to leverage and integrate ClickServices.com XML interface. Information on this program can be found at www.clickservices.com/alliance.
