Everypath Joins Forces With Industry's Internet Leaders - Including Engage, Ericsson, I-Go, Hewlett Packard, Intel, Sun and Visto - to Build the Infrastructure for the Wireless Web

Everypath is taking a leadership position on the wireless web by initiating alliances with industry leaders in order to build the complex infrastructure of content, storage, hosting, advertising, and cutting-edge technology that will enable the development of compelling applications on the wireless web.

"Today, with the launch of the Everypath service, practical, useful content is finally available for wireless users, and we are proving that this content can be translated from existing websites very rapidly, while still maintaining the integrity and security of the underlying data," said Venktesh Shukla, CEO of Everypath. "With these alliances, we are preparing for extremely rapid growth and giving a glimpse of the wireless future we intend to build. We're engaging the partnerships that can provide the sophisticated technology backbone needed to deliver the next generation of wireless web services."

Alliances announced today, include:

Engage will be the preferred provider of Internet-marketing services to a wireless network, composed of Everypath content partner sites, on which it will have the ability to deliver banner and interstitial advertisements, as well as other types of marketing and promotional campaigns. In addition, Engage has also been granted a preferential right to resell Everypath's wireless technology solutions to its network client base.

Ericsson -- As wireless device adoption explodes, and services that provide transaction oriented content (such as banking, stock trading, credit card transactions and bill payment) become available, there are increasing concerns regarding the security of wireless Internet transactions. The companies will also develop an e-speak adapter to Everypath's Rendering Tool, which will accelerate the process for creating e-speak applications for mobile devices.
