- Partnership will allow real estate agents to able to access online home sales from anywhere -

Homebid.com today joined the mobile Internet revolution and announced the availability of its online home sales on personal digital assistants and WAP-enabled cellular telephones. Users will be able to make and track offers on real estate, even when they are on the road or far away from a desktop PC. Homebid.com, which licenses its Offer Manager technology to real estate brokers nationwide, worked with Everypath(TM) to mobilize its website for access on wireless devices.

"Everypath is in the forefront of wireless communications," said Homebid.com chairman & CEO Kevin M. Hickey. "Their new technology will allow real estate agents to use the Homebid.com platform from anywhere in the world."

With Palm VIIs or cellular phones, agents can access an online home sale, track their offers and enter new offers on homes. With the addition of Everypath's technology, the Homebid.com Offer Manager system will allow agents to conduct business outside of the office--when showing a home or during their daily commute--thereby giving their clients better service.

"Services like Homesite.com will drive the early adoption of wireless devices," said Everypath Chief Marketing Officer Marcia Kadanoff. "Real estate professionals are the perfect example of a highly mobile workforce, and Homebid.com is exactly the kind of website that is much more useful when agents and homebuyers can access it from the palm of their hand, while they're out in the field. It's the ideal application to showcase the way Everypath can mobilize even a very complex, transaction-oriented web site so that it can be accessed on small devices."
