Hypercom Corporation (NYSE:HYC) today announced the ICE(TM) 4000CE, the first wireless, Internet-enabled point-of-sale payment terminal using the Microsoft Windows CE operating system for merchants and service providers, including car rental companies, stadiums, medical facilities and restaurants that want to bring the payment system directly to the consumer. The rich graphical interface and open development platform of Windows CE provides greater flexibility to use custom and third party applications, increasing revenues and streamlining operations.
