ithought.com Launches Wireless Connectivity

Premier Online Service Ratings Web Site Upgrades Per Users' Input and Receives Ernst & Young LLP CyberProcess Certification

ithought.com, the leading consumer rating Web site on service businesses across the country, has introduced the first wireless connectivity that empowers its members with access to business listings ranked by performance.

Members using personal digital assistant devices (PDAs) can now access business ratings and information on the road. Palm VII(TM) connected organizer users can now rate service experiences in real time, on the spot. ithought.com will continue to enhance functionality as members provide feedback from this initial wireless trial as well as launch connectivity for Web-enabled wireless phone users.

"Our business is empowering consumers and delivering valuable content," explained Greg Granello, chief executive officer of the Dallas-based company. "Providing consumers the ability to rate businesses or view local ratings from anywhere benefits consumers, businesses and the wireless carriers. In the next few months, we'll bring complete connectivity to the wireless phone community to allow our members to immediately search for businesses or provide feedback, regardless of their location."

ithought.com's wireless connectivity is just one of several enhancements. The one-of-a-kind rating Web site has been gathering feedback from its members. Based on that feedback, ithought.com recently launched a re-designed site with improved functions and a new look and feel.

"We believe that any successful business listens to customers and makes improvements based on that feedback," said Granello. "As ithought members rate businesses in their own backyard and around the country, we encourage them to rate ithought.com and make suggestions."

The upgraded site provides improved user-friendly functionality and increased community interaction to complement the ease of grading businesses, as well as personalized account management, an affiliate marketing program and online fund-raising capabilities for non-profit organizations. In addition to making the site more user-friendly, ithought has also worked with Ernst & Young LLP to ensure the data integrity of the site and privacy of the members.

"CyberProcess Certification provides assurance that ithought.com is committed to preserving the anonymity and confidentiality of all user information obtained," explained Rand Hammond, eRisk Solutions Partner with Ernst & Young LLP in Dallas. "One of the key enablers of growth for e-commerce companies today is the trust they build with business partners, customers, employees and stakeholders. Through CyberProcess Certification, companies like ithought are addressing privacy concerns and gaining their members' trust."
