CreSenda Wireless to Debut Integrated Wireless Handheld Solutions for Mobile Professionals

Company Renames Itself, Creates New Services Category

HandGear.com today announced that it has renamed the company CreSenda Wireless to reflect its position as the category creator in high-profile vertical professional segments.

The renaming effort coincides with the finalization of the company's integrated marketing campaign for its Wireless Professional Series(TM) and its first product line launch this summer.

"Our new name better defines our value proposition -- content, connectivity and customer care -- the convergence of which provides mobile professionals a seamless one-stop solution for conducting business in a wireless environment," said company founder Jonathan Siegler, who also serves as president and chief executive officer of CreSenda.

"The busy lifestyle of mobile professionals requires a powerful, yet easy-to-use service that allows them to be more productive without disrupting their existing work schedule, whether they're on the road, visiting a client, at home, or at the office. We've designed our subscription-based service to be easy to buy, easy to get started, easy to use, and easy to upgrade."

"CreSenda has taken the lead in the wireless handheld space. No other company approaches what the CreSenda business model accomplishes in terms of usability, functionality and real business applications," said Chris Rodskog, senior vice president of Point West Ventures, an early investor in CreSenda.

"The untapped market to be mined by a one-stop wireless solution geared specifically to key vertical markets is huge, and CreSenda has already taken the necessary steps to capture first-mover advantage in this space."

For select major vertical categories, CreSenda will provide a complete and integrated handheld productivity offering that includes hardware (handheld device and wireless modem); market-specific content, applications and services; unlimited connect time; and comprehensive customer care via both the Internet and a national call center. The CreSenda solution requires minimal end-user configuration and will provide customized content, functionality and services for each vertical market.

According to Alex Klyce, CreSenda's vice president of business development and general counsel, "To maintain our lead in this space, we will continue to forge strategic partnerships with the world's leading vertical content and application service providers to ensure our customers receive the highest-quality business information available."

In addition, CreSenda will offer subscribers hardware, content, applications and service upgrades integrating the newest wireless connectivity introductions.
