EE21 Establishes Wireless Gateways Using PortalMaster Mobile

With the Help of Strategic Alliance Partners Lucent Technologies and Motorola, Revolutionary New Solution Enables Enterprises to Present WML, HTML, and XML Content to CDMA and GSM Devices

EE21, Inc., a leading provider of Internet-based platform and enterprise integration solutions for e-business and e-commerce, today introduced a revolutionary new capability for global wireless connectivity.

Known as PortalMaster Mobile(TM), the solution leverages market-leading encryption and telephony products from Motorola and Lucent Technologies to provide the platform that banks, brokerages and other financial services firms need to seamlessly transform WML, HTML, and XML content for presentation on Internet CDMA and GSM wireless devices.

The solution, designed as a part of EE21's flagship PortalMaster suite, will allow corporate customers to control how their content is presented across a broad spectrum of wireless devices, including WAP enabled wireless phones, pagers, and personal digital assistants (PDAs). Integration with the company's Unified Messaging Center, and with biometric and voice recognition technologies, is also planned.

To facilitate use of PortalMaster Mobile capabilities, EE21 is establishing wireless web gateways in the United States, Europe and Asia. The company will host client information on the site, and manage the delivery of HTML/XML and WML content to end users. Fees will be based on a transaction model, to help lower the cost of entry and to simplify the business model.

"The introduction of our new service places EE21 among the first companies to combine WML/XML capabilities with the power of the wireless global network," said EE21 President and CEO Thomas Kielty. "In today's high-speed markets, companies can't afford to take months, or even years, to come up with a content delivery solution that encompasses the full range of devices their users are adopting. Our new PortalMaster Mobile service will allow them to transform and deliver content to the appropriate platform in a matter of hours."
