FieldCentrix(TM), the leader in wireless, Internet-based software solutions for the field service industry, Tuesday announced the company's FX Mobile(TM) software won the American Electronics Association (AEA) 2000 award for Innovative Product and Technology.
Each year the AEA Orange County Council honors the county's top technology companies and executives for excellence in innovation and leadership. The award was accepted by Dr. Al Lin, FieldCentrix vice president of engineering, at the AEA award ceremony on May 18.
FX Mobile is a module of the FieldCentrix Enterprise suite of field service automation software. It allows field technicians, using handheld computers and wireless data communications, to communicate in real-time with the office, operations management, the sales team, and other technicians. FieldCentrix Enterprise, which consists of four modules: FX Mobile(TM), FX Service Center(TM), FX Interchange(TM), and FX Foundation(TM), automates the costly, time-consuming, and paper intensive processes associated with field service.
"We congratulate FieldCentrix for designing such an innovative product," said Phil Beaudoin, executive director, AEA Orange County Council. "FieldCentrix is helping set the pace for technology growth in Orange County."
"Winning this award represents another significant step in the validation of this cutting-edge solution," said David Key, FieldCentrix president and chief executive officer. "Our customers have experienced a return on investment in less than nine months, and have shown a dramatic improvement in customer satisfaction. FX Mobile is truly a product for the new millennium."
