Oklahoma City Building To Receive First High-Speed Wireless Internet Hookup From BBAN LLC JV With BroadCom And Jarvis Networks

Demo Site For IP Phone Also Being Established In OKC This Week

BBAN LLC, an Oklahoma joint venture entity in which BroadBand Wireless International Corporation (OTCBB:BBAN) owns a revenue interest, and in which Jarvis Networks will play a pivotal role, has announced that it has light up its first physical location to receive High-Speed Wireless Internet service in Oklahoma City today, Tuesday, May 16. Tulsa is expected to be lit up with first customers receiving service within two weeks, according to BroadCom/BBAN LLC representatives.

BrightNet Oklahoma, an operating unit of Chickasaw Holding Company, has deployed the first phase of the BBAN/BroadCom system in an office building in northwest Oklahoma City, providing initial service to its first clients. Local press representatives have been invited to witness the initial phase of the operations this week.

BrightNet has entered into a working agreement with BBAN LLC and BroadCom Wireless Communications Corporation under the terms of which BrightNet will host the initial connectivity across their own wireless network. In addition, BrightNet will install all servers and antennas, as well as train all required BBAN LLC personnel in the build-out and operations of the systems and networks in order to make the system operable.

A vital component of the agreement and the structure of the operations of BBAN LLC, will be Jarvis Networks, of Tomball, Texas, which will be providing the required network portal and content for the internet side of the venture. In addition, because of the extensive fiber installations in process at Jarvis' Texas headquarters, BBAN LLC and BrightNet expect to rapidly accelerate its base of operations in order to further expand the venture's operations for delivery of High-Speed Wireless and IP service to business and residential customers. BroadCom Wireless Communications Corporation, which previously negotiated an agreement whereby BroadBand Wireless Communications Corporation agreed in principle to acquire Jarvis Entertainment and Jarvis Networks, remains fully committed to the consumation of that transaction.

In addition to lighting up the initial customers for High-Speed Wireless service, the Joint Venture also plans to install an IP Selsius phone in the first Oklahoma City Building location. Using the phone, calls may be made between Oklahoma City and Stillwater via the Internet with zero long distance charges. Voice over IP (Internet ) is an innovative application which will be a focus of the Joint Venture as well as High-Speed internet services as the networks expands into other cities.
