PanAmerican BanCorp's Wireless Internet Division Develops Technology for Wireless Devices Operating on WAP

First application created in partnership with Mr. Trademark.com

PanAmerican BanCorp (PABN) today announced its development of technology for the Palm Pilot and other wireless devices which operate on Wireless Application Protocol (WAP). The Company's first application for this new area of technology was done in partnership with Mr. Trademark.com.

"Mr. Trademark.com is offering free wireless trademark searches utilizing the Palm Pilot VII hand held device. It is now possible to perform a trademark or servicemark search anywhere, anytime," stated Bill Black, Chief Technology Officer for PanAmerican. This unique tool is designed to allow access to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office's Registered and Pending Trademark database consisting of approximately 1.3 million records. PanAmerican is currently developing a wireless trademark registration application also in cooperation with Mr. Trademark. "The reality is that we have the technology to develop many applications like this across many industry sectors," Mr. Black added.

Mr. Trademark.com is a web-based provider of business information and legal forms processing designed to help people perform simple, paralegal and business procedures without the aid of a lawyer.

In addition to developing technology for wireless devices which operate on WAP, PanAmerican BanCorp is primarily engaged in the development and marketing of Internet/interactive products and services with a particular emphasis on the financial and investment markets, and e-business activities.
