Psion Dacom, today announced an agreement to provide Bluetooth technology to Dell Computer Corp.

Psion Dacom was chosen as a supplier to Dell on the basis of its advanced wireless connectivity roadmap, combined with its reputation for quality, reliability and flexibility.

Together, Psion Dacom and Dell will offer corporate and consumer PC users wireless application solutions which take advantage of Bluetooth technology. No specific product plans have been announced.

Clive Hudson, Psion Dacom's managing director commented: "We have already demonstrated innovation in this area with the development of our retractable Bluetooth antenna (patent pending). We remain focused on providing the corporate client with the greatest business advantage by combining the latest technology with superb usability and control."

Commenting on the agreement, Hudson continued: "This agreement is a major achievement for Psion Dacom and helps strengthen our position as leaders in mobile wireless connectivity solutions. We have had a successful supply relationship with Dell since March 1995 and we are naturally delighted that our Bluetooth technology will be supplied to Dell's customers on a worldwide basis."
