MapInfo Corporation (Nasdaq:MAPS) today announced that Alcatel will demonstrate a wireless data service solution integrated with MapInfo(R) MapXtreme(R) Java(TM) Edition at SUPERCOMM 2000 (Alcatel Booth #6039). The demonstration will show how the coupling of Alcatel's intelligent network platform with MapInfo's industry-leading location technology and data enables wireless carriers to quickly and accurately deliver location-specific services to their customers. MapInfo will also be demonstrating a full range of its location-based telecommunications products and solutions at Booth #3638.
