AvantGo Teams with Yahoo! to Deliver Content and Services to Mobile Devices

AvantGo Inc., a mobile Internet company, and Yahoo, Inc (Nasdaq:YHOO), a leading global Internet communications, commerce and media company, today announced an agreement to enable AvantGo to deliver personalized Yahoo!(R) content and services to mobile devices. Using a wireless, real-time connection or via desktop synchronization, AvantGo users can access Yahoo! news information, stock quotes, weather reports, sports scores, and movie listings on their mobile devices--in color on certain devices. Additionally, users also have access to the more than 350 optimized channels and hundreds of user-submitted sites already available on the free AvantGo mobile Internet service.

"We are pleased to be teaming with AvantGo to enable consumers around the globe to access Yahoo! content and services through data phones, personal digital assistants, pagers and an array of other alternative and wireless devices," said Mohan Vishwanath, vice president of Yahoo! Everywhere, Yahoo! Inc. "Through Yahoo! Mobile and AvantGo, our users will be able to access their personalized Yahoo! content and services when and where they need it most."

"With 145 million unique users worldwide every month, Yahoo!'s vast audience includes a significant number of users of handheld devices and Internet-connected phones," said Mike Aufricht, general manager of AvantGo Mobile Internet. "Now these individuals can access Yahoo! through AvantGo."

Yahoo! is the latest addition to AvantGo's list of companies now offering content and applications on the AvantGo mobile Internet service. Individuals with mobile devices can sign up for the free service by visiting AvantGo (www.avantgo.com) or Yahoo! Mobile (www.mobile.yahoo.com).
