BSQUARE Corporation (Nasdaq:BSQR) today announced BSQUARE EZBeam(TM) 1.1, a new software application that allows users of Microsoft Windows CE devices to quickly exchange electronic business cards, set up appointments and exchange note files with colleagues who own Palm devices.

EZBeam Makes the Rounds at the Symbol Developers Conference
Attendees of the recent Symbol Developers Conference in Palm Springs, California got a chance to preview EZBeam, using it to transfer contacts between Symbol devices using the Palm operating system (OS) and Windows CE. "I was surprised how easy it is to use BSQUARE EZBeam," said Keith Kanneg, senior director, Software Marketing Business Unit, for Symbol Technologies. "I found the application very practical and liked that the data was transferred instantly and accurately with no need for editing." EZBeam is available for a wide range of Windows CE devices, such as the Symbol 2700 series, wireless handhelds for mobile corporate users, also Pocket PCs, H/PC or H/PC Pro devices, and even web appliances or Auto PCs with infrared data ports.
BSQUARE EZBeam transfers contacts, appointments, tasks or even text files. EZBeam is compatible with the Palm OS data standard to ensure complete and accurate data transfer. Transmissions are sent wirelessly using the infrared port of each device and Palm device owners do not need any additional software. To send a contact, appointment, task or text file, BSQUARE EZBeam users simply taps on it and selects Send. Receiving data is just as easy.
Price and Availability
BSQUARE's EZBeam will be available from BSQUARE and authorized distributors in July. Pricing for a single user license is $19.95 and the software will be offered for purchase from BSQUARE's website at http://www.bsquare.com.
