CellPoint and Webraska Join Forces for New, Live Navigation Services

Based on GSM Positioning of Cellular Phones

+ New real-time, personal navigation/mapping services using GSM positioning and the Mobile Internet

+ Automatic positioning adds key element to ensure maximum effectiveness and user-friendliness

Webraska Mobile Technologies, the world's first provider of maps, traffic information and navigation services on Internet mobile phones, and CellPoint (NASD: CLPT; www.cellpt.com), world first with commercial GSM positioning technology and services, are joining forces to demonstrate live personal navigation and information services providing maps and directions to the cellular phone display.

The demonstration will show Webraska's mobility services using CellPoint`s positioning platform during the Mobile Location Services and Applications Conference in London on July 6-7. Conference attendees will be able to witness the time and hassle savings associated with being automatically located on a map and then guided to a destination address or facility such as a restaurant, ATM, petrol station, drugstore, etc.

"CellPoint's positioning of cellular phones enhances location-based services such as Webraska's as it replaces the former requirement for location to be manually entered using the phone keypad," said Peter Henricsson, Chairman and CEO of CellPoint. "Additionally, automatic location-based services will enable alerts based on a phone user's position, such as warnings on traffic conditions in the surrounding area or information on special offers in shops that the user has requested to receive."

Webraska's enhanced spatial searching functionality will be displayed at the London conference to demonstrate how facilities in the area surrounding users can be searched and classified based on actual time-to-destination, rather than simply using "as the crow flies" proximity. Webraska's real-time Internet-based mapping and navigation services will also be shown in the demonstrations.

"Automatic positioning from CellPoint is a key element of advanced location-based services and the Mobile Internet," stated Jean-Michel Durocher, CEO and Founder of Webraska." Along with higher bandwidth, improved terminals and voice recognition and output, positioning is another technological advance that will ensure maximum effectiveness and user-friendliness of location-based services."

Webraska and CellPoint have signed a non-exclusive agreement to cooperate on the integration of their respective services and technologies. The two companies intend to develop and deploy integrated location-based services for mobile telephony operators; both offer open programming interfaces (API's) that will allow mobile operators and application developers around the world to create more new innovative services combining location with mapping and routing. Some potential applications include games, fleet management, yellow pages and city guides. About Webraska
