CreSenda Wireless Launches WirelessRealty, the First in a Series of Handheld Solutions for Mobile Professionals

Handheld Connectivity and Communications Tool Will Maximize Productivity of Real Estate Professionals

CreSenda Wireless today announced the introduction of the first product line in its Wireless Professional Series(SM) --WirelessRealty(SM).

WirelessRealty connects real estate professionals with mission critical information and valuable business functions using a wireless-enabled handheld device, providing access to real-time data from the field.

The WirelessRealty service, which targets the nation's 1.2 million real estate professionals, will be available July 5, 2000 in nine initial markets, including Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, Sacramento, Las Vegas, Reno and Fresno. WirelessRealty will be available in more than 40 cities nationwide by the fourth quarter of this year.

"Research shows that there is a need to supply mobile professionals with access to business-critical, industry-related content so that they can operate with the same efficiency as if they were in the office," stated Andrea Leon, research director, e-business services at the Gartner Group.

Using the WirelessRealty service, real estate agents and brokers will be able to access up-to-the-minute, market-specific real estate information delivered through Realtor.com(R), the Internet's leading real estate-focused Website.

CreSenda's solution offers wireless access to listings on REALTOR.com(R), and the ability to view photos of homes and maps, send and receive e-mail, view detailed profiles of properties, including address, city/town, type of property, price range, number of bedrooms, amenities, and browse the Internet. This unique mobile solution allows agents and brokers to instantly determine which properties meet their client's criteria without having to return to the office. In addition to the real estate specific applications, users also have access to standard features such as contact management, phone and address book, and scheduling.

"Top producing agents need more than just information from the MLS, they need--and clients demand--access to the latest information about potential homes on a real-time basis," said Jay Marks, broker associate with RE/MAX Associates in Arlington, Texas. "The future of residential real estate is wireless, and CreSenda's WirelessRealty is at the forefront--I can already attribute several deals directly to their product."

"WirelessRealty is a revolutionary service that will change the lives of real estate professionals by improving their efficiency, enabling true wireless communication and data delivery, and ultimately directly improving their bottom line," said Jonathan H. Siegler, president and chief executive officer of CreSenda Wireless. "The response from our beta users has been extremely positive, and we look forward to hearing even more success stories from our customers as we continue our roll-out nationwide."

CreSenda will market the WirelessRealty service through various channels, including direct sales, toll-free telephone orders through 877/942-4327, and online at www.cresenda.com and www.realtor.com. WirelessRealty pricing is set at $299.00 for all hardware (wireless modem and handheld device), plus an activation fee and a monthly subscription fee of $79.95. In addition, the product will be available at industry trade shows, including the Northwest Real Estate Tech Summit, Florida Association of Realtors, RE/MAX, Texas/Louisiana Realtors Convention, California Realtor Expo 2000, Venture 2000, Viva 2000, Real Estate Connect 2000 in Silicon Valley, and Triple Play 2000 Convention & Trade Expo.
