Datalink.net Signs Deal with WizShop.com; Company to Wirelessly Enable Internet e-Commerce Sites

Datalink.net (AMEX:DLK) a leading Wireless Application Service Provider (w-ASP) with patented technology, today announced the signing of a contract with Wizshop.com. Datalink.net will provide WAP and Palm wireless transaction capabilities for Wizshop's shopping portals including Earthlink, MindSpring, Internets.com, Worldpages.com and Wizshop.com.

The $1 million contract states that Datalink.net will create WAP and Palm wireless transaction services that will add an additional level of functionality to e-commerce sites developed by Wizshop.com. Datalink.net technology will wirelessly enable shopping portals engineered by Wizshop.com making them "mobile malls". In addition, Wizshop.com will deploy Datalink.net's Wireless Bookmark technology to its e-commerce customers.

Wizshop.com develops co-branded e-commerce solutions for ISPs and other popular websites, incorporating 1,000 of the best shopping sites in all of the major e-commerce product categories. The company combines best-of-breed shopping technologies with a highly scaleable database and a customizable front-end, enabling each ISP to create their own shopping portal.

"We are happy to join forces with Wizshop.com in this endeavor to create wireless e-commerce transaction technology," said Anthony LaPine, Datalink.net chairman and CEO. "This is a great opportunity for Datalink.net to demonstrate its wireless capabilities in the e-commerce arena and provide Wizshop.com's customers with a new way of accessing their growing customer bases."

Through this partnership, Datalink.net will initially wirelessly enable EarthLink's e-commerce site. The site was recently rebuilt by Wizshop.com using the patented EarthLink shopping interface. The new site allowed them to maintain multiple levels of sellable real estate, while adding new shopping features such as comparison-shopping and over 750 new stores for EarthLink members. This technology will allow the EarthLink mall to be accessible from wireless devices such as a WAP phone or Palm device.

"By partnering with Datalink.net, WizShop.com will be able to provide wireless commerce applications to our co-branded e-commerce business partners, enabling them to capitalize on the emerging trend of wireless shopping," said Steven McAllister, Wizshop.com President and CEO.
