Eleven Entertainment Leaders Partner with MobileEngines to Offer Mobile Entertainment Services

MobileEngines, the leader in mobile entertainment services, today expanded its robust mobile entertainment service with the announcement of 11 new entertainment partners.

The combined content and applications from these 11 new partners and from five current partners will be aggregated in the MobileEngines Serious Fun Engine. The Serious Fun Engine is a group of unique mobile entertainment applications that deliver rich mobile content and applications to mobile users. MobileEngines' new entertainment partners include Auctionfares.com, ClickMovie.com, Club Community, e-lingo, elcafecito, FreeRun, GourmetMarket.com, Iuma, MongoMusic.com, RestaurantRow.com, and Rotten Tomatoes.

The MobileEngines Serious Fun Engine delivers to mobile users interactive entertainment content and services in an easy-to-use interface. The Serious Fun Engine includes applications like movie showtimes and reviews, last-minute ticket deals, online restaurant reservations and guides, and concert and radio information. MobileEngines is enabling wireless telephone carriers, entertainment and Internet brands to use the Engine to deliver content and applications to existing and new consumers, extend their brand awareness and share in revenue opportunities.

"The wireless market presents unique distribution and aggregation challenges to dot-coms and wireless carriers alike," said Patrick Boyle, co-founder and CEO of MobileEngines. "The addition of content and applications from these leading partners allows MobileEngines to offer a very powerful mobile entertainment solution and gives end users convenient access to some of the best content available on mobile devices today."

"Entertainment content is driving consumer wireless usage. By partnering with MobileEngines we are able to offer our customers a powerful mobile service," said Scott Redmond, founder and CEO of ClickMovie.com. "By going mobile, we're able to reach a much wider audience and we know the distribution of our film, animation, sports and movie trailer content will not get lost in the `wireless Web.'"

Based on the MobileEngines technology platform, the Serious Fun Engine seamlessly ports unique content or translates existing Web content directly to consumers' Internet-ready mobile devices such as cell phones and PDAs, and adds valuable content, applications and e-commerce capabilities that go beyond the Internet -- like two-way functionality and interactive ratings and transactions. The technology is based on standard HTML, requires no technical effort from partners and is network/protocol agnostic.

Some of the services these new entertainment partners add to the Serious Fun Engine include:

--     ClickMovie.com: powered by Tranz-Send Broadcasting Network's
proprietary technology, offers on-demand digital entertainment
(including films, shorts, animation, sporting events, movie
trailers, music and games) and is the only entertainment
portal to deliver DVD-like quality content at full-screen
        resolution over the Internet.

--  e-lingo: develops and hosts real-time language translation
solutions for online businesses including translated search,
        text, e-mail and Web browsing.

--  MongoMusic: the leading technology music provider, gives
listeners the power to discover a variety of new music that
matches their interest and mood. MongoMusic's pioneering
technology enables consumers to choose, control and create
their own music experience online and offline, whenever and
        wherever they want it.

--  RestaurantRow.com: the largest "to go" destination for
restaurant information with over 110,000 restaurants in 7,000
cities to search and pertinent information on selections
(cuisine styles, menus, location, directions, ambience and
        customer reviews).

--  Rotten Tomatoes: helps moviegoers decide what to watch with
        summaries and dozens of reviews.

"MobileEngines will enable us to deliver our `moviegoers' content to our mobile customers anywhere they go: the movie theater, in a video store...anywhere," said Patrick Lee, CEO of Rotten Tomatoes. "In addition, this partnership will allow us to more rapidly develop value-added services specific to the wireless market."

"Entertainment content is rapidly becoming one of the hottest applications in the wireless market and we are the first to provide a distribution service that makes it easier for carrier to get this leading content to their customers," added Boyle.

The MobileEngines Platform uses intelligent agent technology to translate and port standard HTML, XML and Java Web sites and content to mobile data devices. MobileEngines uses WAP (wireless applications protocol) and other wireless protocols to move information and services to a variety of wireless devices.
