GoAmerica Selected to Provide Wireless Internet Service For Cinemax SummerScreen Tour

Traveling Film Festival to Access Internet via GoAmerica Wireless Service

GoAmerica, Inc. (Nasdaq:GOAM), a nationwide wireless Internet service provider, today announced it has been selected to provide mobile Internet access for Cinemax SummerScreen, a free, outdoor film festival visiting ten cities nationwide.

As the exclusive Internet provider for the event, GoAmerica will wirelessly enable laptop computers for festival sponsors to view and demonstrate Web sites and services in each exhibit booth. Some of this year's sponsors include Flooz.com, Flower.com, Stockback and Shop4cash.com. Exhibit sponsors will access company Web sites through the GoAmerica service and a wireless modem.

"GoAmerica was selected to be the exclusive provider of wireless Internet access for our sponsors because of its breadth of nationwide service and proven excellence in the mobile industry," said Sean McCarthy, production manager of event coordinator FourFront. "Because Cinemax SummerScreen is a series of outdoor events, wiring every booth for Internet access is not feasible. GoAmerica provides the solutions we need in order to allow our sponsors to demonstrate their services across the country."

"A traveling event such as Cinemax SummerScreen is an optimal venue to display the nationwide data solutions GoAmerica provides," said Joe Korb, executive vice president, GoAmerica, Inc. "GoAmerica's wireless Internet access will allow the festival sponsors to conduct business online, while eliminating the hassle of being tied to a desktop computer."

The Cinemax SummerScreen tour begins June 3, 2000 in the Hamptons section of New York's Long Island. The outdoor festival will travel to ten metropolitan areas, including Philadelphia, Phoenix, Denver, Minneapolis/St. Paul, San Antonio, St. Louis, New Orleans, Miami Beach and Orange County, Calif.

Approximately 300,000 people are expected to attend SummerScreen this year.
