Aether Software, the products division of Aether Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:AETH), today announced a comprehensive licensing, development and distribution agreement with INSYS, a systems integrator and software distributor specializing in providing business solutions to companies in Central and South America. Under the agreement, INSYS will license and deploy the ScoutWare(TM) product suite as part of a new mobile and wireless practice for its customers. In addition to designing and marketing mobile solutions integrating ScoutWare, INSYS will implement bilingual support for Aether's ScoutWare customers located in Central and South America.

The new practice will focus on horizontal industries with an initial emphasis on financial and telecommunications opportunities.

ScoutSync(TM), a part of Aether's ScoutWare(TM) software suite, is a unique server technology that enables the connection and management of mobile computing devices being used in the field by mobile professionals. ScoutSync seamlessly connects and manages handheld devices and applications, working in both wired and wireless environments in batch and real-time mode. Completely server, platform and device neutral, ScoutSync creates an "ever available" enterprise by synchronizing servers and then transferring the output onto a Palm or other mobile computing device.
