Melody Interactive Solutions today launched its new secure WAP Gateway, Melody WAP Gateway, designed to enable secure access to email and corporate information from any WAP enabled device. Using the Telepathy WAP Security Toolkit (WST) offering from Baltimore Technologies (NASDAQ:BALT; London:BLM), Melody will integrate WTLS security features into its WAP Gateway, providing users with complete secure connections from their mobile phones to the corporate network and mail server.

Melody WAP Gateway is priced from 962 Euro (¤) for standard version and 1683 Euro including a security module (supporting WTLS) and can be installed on Windows NT, Windows 2000, Unix, Linux and Solaris and can be accessed by all WAP-enabled devices.
Secure communication's solution with Melody WAP Gateway and Melody WAP Mail Simultaneously with the release of Melody WAP Gateway, Melody Interactive Solutions is also announcing the release of version 1.2 of Melody WAP Mail. Melody WAP Mail enables access to existing e-mail accounts, (meaning no separate WAP mail account needs to be installed). Melody WAP Gateway in combination with Melody WAP Mail provides the mobile workforce unlimited and secure access to the web server and e-mail server. New features of Melody WAP Mail 1.2 includes automatic entries of new mailaddresses to the address book, language support for Swedish, English and Spanish and compatibility with most mailservers.
