Pumatech Partners With eturn.com to Offer Intellisync Synchronization Application for Individuals

Licensing Agreement Allows Users to Synchronize Address Book Information Between Popular PIMs, PDAs and Phones

PUMATECH (NASDAQ: PUMA) Inc., the leading provider of the essential software infrastructure for the ubiquitous mobile Internet, and eturn.com, a new Web-based automatic contact update service, today announced a licensing agreement to provide eturn.com along with PUMATECH's Intellisync(R) synchronization platform. eturn will incorporate the popular synchronization engine from PUMATECH which will allow users to synchronize address book information between eturn and Palm(TM) handhelds, Microsoft Outlook 97/98/2000, ACT! and GoldMine Software. Both parties also plan to work together to leverage the capabilities of PUMATECH's Intellisync.com(SM) portal, which will provide synchronization, change detection/notification and Web-rendering/browsing capabilities when it is introduced during summer 2000.

eturn.com will offer synchronization features from PUMATECH's Intellisync software, offering the benefits of the Intellisync platform at no additional charge to eturn members. This synchronization functionality will enable users to update contact information with a single streamlined process, increasing accuracy and saving time, compared with manually entering data from various sources.
