Event Communications Company Joins Internationally Recognized Forum to Further Develop Wireless Technology

Senada.com, a leading Event Communications company, announced today that it has joined the Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) Forum, an international consortium of more than 400 companies dedicated to developing the de-facto global standard for delivering wireless Internet content to hand-held devices such as wireless phones, PDAs and pagers.

"Joining the WAP Forum allows us to take part in shaping the future of Event Communications," said Gregory Brown, co-founder and CEO of Senada.com. "We're leading the Event Communications industry by offering the first service for sending announcements and invitations via WAP-enabled devices. Being a WAP Forum member lets us collaborate with other leading companies in the wireless industry to create a positive environment for future wireless application development."

"The addition of Senada.com to the WAP Forum's 400-plus members is yet another example of the fast-growing support of the WAP standard," said Scott Goldman, WAP Forum CEO. "From the carriers and manufacturers to the content developers, the organization is dedicated to ensuring interoperability of WAP-enabled content and devices and, ultimately, creating a positive experience for mobile users."

Earlier this month, the company announced Senada.com Wireless, a first-of-its-kind application that allows customers to send, receive and manage Event Communications from any WAP-enabled device. Senada.com Wireless complements the complete Web-based Event Communication and management solution launched in October 1999.
