SNAZ, a global wireless commerce provider announced today its relationship with Palm, Inc. as an in-box shopping application which will be packaged with certain future Palm(TM) handheld computers. SNAZ will offer Palm handheld users the ability to search and buy across multiple leading merchants in a single transaction.
The SNAZ wireless shopping platform features its mobile-wallet. The mobile-wallet supports the wireless e-commerce transaction gateway connecting the Palm handheld to the SNAZ merchant network. This enables users to register once giving them immediate ability to buy from the leading merchants, all from a single SNAZ icon on their Palm handheld.
"As the market for handheld computers further proliferates, the desire for mobile services, like online shopping through wireless devices, will also grow." said Byron Connell, Vice President, Consumer Markets Group at Palm, Inc. SNAZ proprietary technology can add any merchant from the web to its wireless merchant network regardless of whether the individual merchant is wirelessly enabled or not. SNAZ's mobile wallet supports standard forms of payment including Visa, Mastercard and American Express, with the choice of multiple shipping and billing addresses for each mobile shopper.

SNAZ is deploying a multi-lingual mobile commerce platform with local e-commerce vendors across the United States, Europe and Asia.
