SwiftTouch Corporation Delivers Wireless Access for Personal Information Management

WAP Phones Transformed into 'Business Survival Tools' for On-the-Move Professionals

SwiftTouch Corporation (www.swifttouch.com), a pioneer in Web-based personal information management, today announced availability of wireless access - from Wireless Application Protocol (WAP)-compliant phones -to its powerful, online services. This service enhancement enables on-the-move professionals to access their contacts, calendar, tasks, and notes anywhere, using Web-enabled phones. Wireless access to SwiftTouch(TM) taps a market that is predicted to include 80 million "smart" phones by 2003, according to Jupiter Communications.

"Until now, a lack of compelling applications has left the promise of the wireless Internet largely unfulfilled," said Dan Hoy, chief executive officer, SwiftTouch Corporation. "With today's announcement, SwiftTouch takes the next step in helping drive market adoption of the wireless Internet. We believe this is an application of tremendous value to business professionals, one they will find central to their daily activities."

WAP phone users can access their SwiftTouch account today by entering the SwiftTouch URL, www.swifttouch.com, into their phone's microbrowser. Automated synchronization with multiple platforms, such as Microsoft Outlook(R) and Palm OS(R) devices, ensures that critical information is current and immediately accessible without re-entering data.

Users can immediately view their contacts, calendar, tasks and notes; search for a keyword in their contacts list; initiate calls to a business contact with a single key-press; and send a pre-set email message ("Call me ASAP!"), unobtrusively and swiftly. SwiftTouch is offered as a free service to individuals and is licensed to organizations and strategic partners.

Greg Powers, director of sales, Revenio Inc., an early beta user of SwiftTouch wireless access said, "SwiftTouch on my WAP phone makes me more productive. I always have the phone number or address I need even when I don't have my laptop or PDA. I have hundreds of contacts, but I didn't need to program a single one into my phone. My WAP phone is now my most important productivity tool, thanks to SwiftTouch."
