WebAppoint Introduces Mobile and Wireless Support for Palm VII and OmniSky Equipped Palm V

Program Enables Real-Time Appointment Scheduling

WebAppoint.com, Inc., the online appointment pioneer headquartered here, now offers appointment scheduling support for the Palm VII from Palm Computing Inc., utilizing the Palm's wireless capabilities and its Web Clipping Application (WCA) technology.

This new feature from WebAppoint allows Palm users and service providers to check appointment schedules online, as well as make appointments wirelessly anywhere anytime using the powerful and robust WebAppoint online appointment scheduler.

In addition, WebAppoint supports any mobile Web browser that can read Web clipping files, and also offers support for the Palm V with an OmniSky Wireless Modem.

"Palm is today's ubiquitous business tool, but it needs to have an enriched set of capabilities," says Daniel Levitt, president and chief executive officer at WebAppoint. "WebAppoint has significantly enhanced the Palm's features by offering wireless, mobile scheduling capabilities, a natural extension of its capabilities and a way to meet user demand."

Using WebAppoint and the Palm

The WebAppoint capabilities are offered free of charge to any Palm VII or Palm V user. To install the WebAppoint Web Clipping Application (WCA), users need to download the WebAppoint wireless application found at www.webappoint.com and install it on their Palm.

Once the file has been installed, Palm users can view their personal appointment schedule, view appointment availability and schedule appointments in real-time.

Services providers will be able to view their personal appointment schedule, confirm appointments, as well as manage and maintain their schedules in real-time via the Palm.

This is the first in a line of mobile platforms to be offered by WebAppoint. Future support will include Microsoft Windows CE and Pocket PC. More details will be unveiled over the next several months.
