Zucotto Enhances The Wireless Internet Experience with Live Java and Bluetooth Demonstrations at JavaOne 2000 in San Francisco

Company Showcases Combination of Its Cutting-Edge BLUEboard and WHITEboard Products with Sun Microsystems' Java(TM) Technology

Zucotto Systems, Inc., the global leader in Java(TM) semiconductor solutions for the Wireless Internet, today announced that the company is demonstrating rapid development of "killer apps" via its BLUEboard and WHITEboard during the JavaOne 2000 trade show, June 6-9, 2000 in San Francisco.

Zucotto's BLUEboard, which is being utilized as a prototype Wireless Internet WebPad, and the company's WHITEboard development platform enable the development of future wireless devices and automotive user interfaces. The live demonstrations of the BLUEboard and WHITEboard enable files to be selected and shared, and also highlight Zucotto's partners' technologies, including E-SIM's RapidPlus and Rangestar's Embedded Bluetooth Antennas.

Zucotto's patent-pending extensions to Sun Microsystems' (NASDAQ:SUNW) Java(TM) technology, which are embedded into Zucotto's Xpresso(TM) semiconductors, are leading the Wireless Internet market to new heights, creating a much richer mobile multimedia experience. Zucotto's product line includes Xpresso semiconductors and Jacknife Development Platforms. The one ingredient in all of these products that is key to the fast integration of Multimedia and Wireless Internet applications, is Zucotto's patented SLICE(TM) technology.

The pure Java Xpresso family of semiconductors can speed the performance of these new "killer apps" by 20-40 times, with lower power consumption when compared to traditional VM implementations. Xpresso product lines will conform to Sun Microsystems' Connected Limited Device Configuration (CLDC) and Mobile Information Devices Profile (MIDP). CLDC and MIDP specifications are created by global leaders in the wireless industry such as AOL, Motorola, Nokia, Panasonic, Samsung and NTT DoCoMo.

See worldwide demonstrations of Zucotto's Java and Bluetooth technology at JavaOne, June 6-9, 2000, in San Francisco; CommunicAsia, June 6-9, 2000 in Singapore; and Bluetooth Congress, June 13-16, 2000 in Monte Carlo.
