GoldMine Software Unveils Wireless and Web-Enabled eCRM Product Family To Enable GoldMine FrontOffice 2000 Users Everywhere Access to Information

GoldMine Software Corporation today unveiled GoldMine(R) Everywhere Server, the first suite of wireless and web-enabled eCRM (customer relationship management) products specifically designed to support its award-winning GoldMine FrontOffice 2000(TM) (GMFO). Featuring real-time access to GoldMine data, streamlined modules for ease-of-use and rapid navigation, the GoldMine Everywhere Server includes GoldMine Everywhere Web, GoldMine Everywhere for the Palm(TM) VII Handhelds, and GoldMine Everywhere Thin Client. This announcement further solidifies GoldMine's commitment to developing affordable, rapidly deployable and easy-to-use eCRM solutions for small and medium-sized businesses (SMB).

An inherent power of the GoldMine Everywhere Server lies in its ability to extend GMFO, which already tracks all customer contacts within an organization, across multiple users and teams, from any platform anywhere in the world, from a Windows environment to the Web and beyond to wireless. Additionally, it gives universal access to a unified customer database allowing everyone who interacts with customers to be better informed and more capable of providing immediate assistance, which translates directly into increased customer satisfaction.

"We have extended the power of our FrontOffice 2000 solution to the Internet and minimized the amount of additional administration required," said Larry Twersky, president, CRM Division, GoldMine Software Corporation. "GoldMine Everywhere Server is the first offering in a series of planned product initiatives focusing on wireless and on-line solutions for small to medium-sized business."

"The GoldMine Everywhere Server Family offers the ease of use, reliability, and price/performance ratio that SMB customers need to compete and win against their rivals in today's hyper competitive environments," added Natalie Burdick, GoldMine's vice president of Products.

"The explosive growth of the Internet, lower cost access and increased broadband availability has fueled demand for Web-based eCRM client solutions," commented Sam Clark, Application Delivery Strategies senior research analyst at META Group. "By providing its users with an easy-to-use alternative to synchronization, GoldMine has extended the power of its FrontOffice 2000 solution to the Web and minimized the amount of additional administration required. At the same time, they are demonstrating a commitment to the channel to help them maintain customer loyalty and improve long-term retention."

"GoldMine's increased emphasis on reseller support has made a dramatic difference in our ability to deliver eCRM solutions and enhances our ability to offer add-on products such as GoldSecure(TM) which we are targeting at Web-based tools," said Kevin Shahbazi, assistant vice-president of Marketing at Applied Technologies, Inc. "The combination of GoldMine Everywhere Web with our Internet security products provide our mutual customers with a powerful eCRM solution."

"The GoldMine Everywhere Server lets remote users easily take advantage of services running on the network back at a company's headquarters," said Rafael Zimberoff, president, Z-Firm LLC. "For example, with Z-Firm's FaxRush and CashRush, remote users can charge a customer's credit card or order shipments or send faxes to customers from their Palm handheld or web browser. And, all this is logged in GoldMine in real time, for all network and remote users to see. That is outstanding integration and automation for the remote user."
