New Prescription for Busy Physicians: Wireless Connectivity

GoAmerica and ClinicAmerica.com Form Unique Alliance to Offer Wireless Internet Communications Solutions to Healthcare Providers

GoAmerica, Inc. (NASDAQ: GOAM), a leading wireless Internet solutions provider, and ClinicAmerica.com, developer of e*Clinic2000 (SM), a first-of-its-kind, virtual clinic enabling the provision of healthcare over the Internet, today announced a strategic relationship to develop and market a wireless communications product for America's healthcare providers. The application will enable physicians to remotely access and manage front office operations and communicate more effectively with patients, staff and other health care providers.

The partnership will integrate GoAmerica's industry-leading Go.Web* technology with ClinicAmerica.com's e*Clinic2000(SM) product to allow healthcare providers to enhance patient relationships and access critical data whether they are in or out of the office. The technology is expected to increase patient interaction with physicians, as it will enable healthcare providers to chat, instant message and email with staff and patients in a secure manner from a variety of wireless devices.

"The beauty of wireless access is it increases productivity and efficiency for the mobile professional," said Joe Korb, executive VP and Director of GoAmerica. "Healthcare practitioners are truly mobile professionals, and we believe our relationship with ClinicAmerica.com will give physicians greater flexibility to manage patient information without compromising security or confidentiality."

"In the current healthcare landscape, physicians have been forced to manage an increasing workload, often from multiple office locations," says Dr. Uli Chettipally, founder and CEO of ClinicAmerica.com. "Our partnership with GoAmerica provides physicians a unique, anytime, anywhere communication capability in their network, thereby improving workflow, enriching the practice of medicine and enhancing quality of patient care."

As part of the agreement, the two companies will market each other's services and share planning and product strategies to stay at the forefront of this emerging market. As a result of this alliance, doctors will be able to respond to patient questions about prescriptions or treatment regimens in near real-time while out of the office, revolutionizing the way they work. A physician might receive an electronic message from a patient and, feasibly, respond within minutes of receiving that message. Correspondence via the service takes place within a secure, password-protected environment.

ClinicAmerica.com developed the e*Clinic2000(SM) product based on extensive research on the front-office functions of a healthcare provider's practice and its interface with healthcare consumers. The e*Clinic 2000(SM) suite of services includes full front office functionality with secure physician/patient messaging, one-on-one live chat, self service appointment system, provider schedule/calendar, provider web pages, patient personal health records, electronic encounter records and financial transaction capabilities. These tools are designed to enhance physician-patient relationships through improved communication and form an additional healthcare delivery channel to complement traditional care.

Where healthcare providers were limited to using ClinicAmerica.com's service from their desktops, together GoAmerica and ClinicAmerica.com are removing the wires and giving physicians greater mobility and connectivity.
