Motorola's (NYSE: MOT) Broadband Communications Sector today announced that it will be participating in a high- speed, wireless home-networking demonstration at the Intel Developer Forum Conference (IDF 2000). Motorola will be demonstrating as part of the Practical Applications of HomeRF Demo Session on Wednesday, August 23, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. (San Jose Convention Center, San Jose, CA).
This event will showcase the sharing of data and multiple voice streams at many times the speed of dial-up, all without wires. Viewers will be able to see the convenience and new array of data, voice, and entertainment services made possible by wireless home networking.

"Wireless in-home networking technology is delivering a new generation of advanced voice, data, and video services -- right into the consumer's home -- for their ultimate convenience and enjoyment."
The IDF demonstration will employ Motorola's new AL 200 multi-user DOCSIS- based cable modem with built-in HomeRF networking.
