Multimedia 2000 Releases PocketPhoto for Palm, Palm-Compatible Handhelds

Application Lets Users Store Hundreds of Photos and Images on Their Handheld Computer

Multimedia 2000 (www.m-2k.com) today announced the release of PocketPhoto, the breakthrough photo album creator for Palm OS-compatible handheld devices. PocketPhoto lets users store and display hundreds of their most treasured photos and images on their handhelds, in color on the new Palm IIIc, or in crisp black-and-white on all handhelds running Palm OS v2.0 or higher.

"It's terrific programs like PocketPhoto that are making the current breed of handhelds such a huge success," said Multimedia 2000's VP of Business Development Greg Hutcheson. "This inexpensive program gives users amazing storage capacity along with tons of helpful features, and makes it simple enough for even the handheld novice."

Apart from its storage and display capacities, PocketPhoto offers a wealth of valuable features. Users can create a slideshow of photos and images, beam their photos to other handhelds, create multiple albums, and upload photos to desktop computers. PocketPhoto accepts images from digital cameras, scanners, and Web files, and allows users to load photos directly from Kodak PhotoNet online.

PocketPhoto was developed by Dream House Software, which specializes in applications for the rapidly expanding mobile computing market. "Everyone loves to show off pictures, whether they're of their kids, pets, or new sports car, and PocketPhoto lets them carry more pictures than their day-timer or wallet could ever hold," says Dream House President Alan Finke.
