Intrinsic Launches IOS.customizer

Carrier Class Customization Tool Helps Operators and Portals

Promote Personalized Wireless Internet Services

SHANGHAI, 6 September 2000 — Building on its leadership in personalizing the wireless internet, Intrinsic Technology has developed IOS.customizer, delivering the ability for mobile users to customize their WAP experience.

IOS.customizer allows wireless internet users to preset customized applications and services without wading through unwanted page connections or links. The customization tool also incorporates a navigation functionality that lets users easily move to other Linktone services.

Intrinsic’s IOS.customizer is designed to run with IOS.CN (Intrinsic Operating System for Cellular Networks) a technology platform designed to sit above cellular network components and provide an open standard for application and content interface.

“Creating an open platform that accommodates functions such as IOS.customizer is critical for the success of the wireless internet,” said Barton Wen, Head of Technology Development at Intrinsic.  “Customization of the wireless experience is simple progress.  The applications that I’m interested in are sure to be different than those of the person next to me.  IOS.customizer is the next step in wireless personalization and wireless convenience.”
