Intrinsigo and Marbles, Inc. Announce Wireless Content Server Alliance

Early technology leaders in PDA content and wireless PDA client/server applications agree to explore opportunities together

Intrinsigo, pioneers in designing and delivering rich, interactive content specifically for PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) users, and Marbles, Inc., whose patented SkyFire(tm) based solutions turn PDAs into secure real-time wirelessly connected enterprise tools, today announced the formation of a strategic alliance. The companies are teaming together to enable wirelessly connected PDA users to receive interactive mobile content in real time.

"Intrinsigo works with Fortune 1000 and marquee branded content owners to make their content media-rich, interactive and PDA-ready," says Steve McConnell, co-founder and CEO of Intrinsigo. "We're excited about our relationship with Marbles because together we can offer an infinite volume of content to individual and enterprise wireless PDA users in real time - despite the limitations of processor performance and memory normally associated with PDAs."

The companies believe their combined approach would be especially beneficial to the Fortune 1000/enterprise market. "Imagine being a Field Service Engineer at a customer's site and needing instant access to reference materials as well as an interactive checklist whose results need to be recorded at corporate. This is just one of a number of solutions that will be possible with the Intrinsigo/Marbles alliance."

"Marbles' patented SkyFire(tm) technology provides fast and secure access to data and applications over literally any network," says Chris Knapp, CEO of Marbles, Inc. "We're excited about teaming with Intrinsigo to deliver branded and proprietary wireless content applications." Knapp added, "WAP devices, web-enabled phones and pagers are very well suited to the quick stock quote, sports score, or scrolling text news story, but PDAs lend themselves to a much different user experience."

It's this distinction the companies seek to exploit together. "Customers of both Intrinsigo and Marbles see the PDA as an important tool in the enterprise technology toolkit," says Knapp. "Our customers want to extend the value of the growing number of PDAs in the enterprise and enable their mobile workforce to have secure anytime/anywhere access to company-specific information."

The companies are exploring a full range of content, technology, business development and marketing initiatives together and are currently presenting their technologies together at the On Line Learning conference (Booth 839) in Denver (through 9/27).
