MedSearch Technologies, Inc. Develops a Revolutionary Home-Care Wireless Technology Utilizing PDAs -Personal Organizers- as Patient Monitors

MedSearch Technologies, Inc. (OTC BB: MDSX) today announced that the Company is developing a wireless versatile platform technology for home-care.

This platform is expected to be applied in monitoring patients in their homes and in their everyday environment using Personal Data Assistants (PDAs).

MedSearch's unique software and hardware application is expected to be compatible with most of the standard PDAs such as 3Com's Palm Pilot, Handspring's Visor(TM), Rim's Blackberry, and Windows CE-based Pocket PCs.

This patent-pending system is the first to utilize PDA's as patient monitors by measuring patient medical data using disposable sensors. The medical data that is acquired in the PDA is stored, displayed if necessary and transferred via wireless channels to a central secured server.

To assist the diagnostic procedure, the data can be analyzed online and accessed by authorized personnel using either a desktop computer in the clinic or another PDA at any location. MedSearch's PDA hardware and software will permit mobile patients and medical professionals who are away from their traditional work settings to manage their patients remotely.

The Company's various home-care applications for this PDA technology are currently at different stages of development. These applications include the monitoring of patients with congestive heart failure, patients with arrhythmia or implanted pacemakers, patients with diabetes, and patients with asthma. Additionally, MedSearch's patent-pending sensor attached to a PDA is aimed at assessing male erectile dysfunction and can be used at home.

Professor Ofer Barnea, chairman of MedSearch's scientific advisory board stated, "This versatile platform is unique in its ability to monitor patients with various diseases in their homes. Patients that would benefit from this technology include patients with congestive heart failure and patients that are limited in their mobility. This technology will keep the patient from being hospitalized and their subjective perception of their condition will be conveyed to their physician as well."

Jacob Meller, president of MedSearch, stated "We believe that this platform technology will not only improve healthcare, but will save substantial funds in hospitalization costs and in drug consumption. Insurance companies have already shown great interest in home-care monitoring."

"We believe that MedSearch's technology will establish the company as a leader in unique measurement systems including sensors, algorithms, devices and wireless remote data transfer. Our strong ties with academic and medical communities position the Company at a powerful crossroads." said Jacob Meller.
