MobileQ Joins Wireless Data Forum

MobileQ, Inc., a developer of enterprise server software to mobilize business applications, today announced its membership in the Wireless Data Forum (WDF), the leading trade association for advancing wireless data and mobile computing.

Members of the WDF include network service providers, wireless device and infrastructure equipment manufacturers and vendors, computer software and hardware developers, and information services content providers. In joining the organization, MobileQ joins industry leaders such as Nokia, On-Star, Research in Motion, AT&T Wireless and AOL in working toward the advancement of wireless data applications and customer communities.

MobileQ provides server software, XMLEdge(TM), that enables companies to deliver business applications to any mobile device, including PDA's and mobile phones, in a manner that is consistent, easy to manipulate, and optimized for the features and functionality of each device. Based upon the open standards of XML, which affords a high degree of flexibility in accessing and presenting data, XMLEdge(TM) easily mobilizes any standard or custom line of business application, including messaging, personal information management, customer relationship management and dispatch. With MobileQ products, companies no longer need to develop individual applications for each competing technology standard, while users are able to work on the device that is most comfortable and intuitive for them.

In addition to the WDF, MobileQ is a member of the WAP Forum, the leading wireless development organization currently driving the development of standards for rendering information for presentation on mobile devices.

To facilitate rapid adoption of XMLEdge(TM) as the leading wireless infrastructure solution, MobileQ is also establishing strategic partnerships with select systems integrators, application service providers, network service providers and device manufacturers. To date, the company announced alliances with partners including Samsung, AGENCY.COM, and Lobby7.
