Stockpoint(R) (www.stockpoint.com), a leading provider of online investment analysis tools and financial information, today launched a new Custom Alerts engine, offering timely notification of stock performance including price, trading volume and earnings per share fluctuation.
Stockpoint's Web-based Custom Alerts enable its Web portal, brokerage firm, banking and financial service/insurance clients to offer their users personalized alerts sent to an e-mail-capable wireless device (pager, cell phone or Palm-platform handheld) or personal computer, keeping them abreast of market changes generally within 20 minutes.

Serving up Custom Alerts for On-the-Go Investors
Stockpoint clients can now offer their users the ability to set up a list of up to 50 stocks and specific criteria on which to receive alerts. Criteria include above and below a certain level of price and price net and percentage change; earnings per share; market capitalization; P/E ratio; 52-week average; as well as above a certain volume. All stocks traded on major U.S. exchanges are included, as well as those on the London, Amsterdam, Milan, Paris, Spanish, German Xetra and Frankfurt, and Canadian TSE, CDNX and Montreal exchanges. Stockpoint's Wireless Products Get Personal
The company also announced a new release of products to supplement its wireless line. Available with this new wireless release are personalized U.S. and UK real-time quotes; a customized watch list of stocks; portfolio account balance; symbol look-up; and, for WAP-enabled Palm devices, the ability to choose between intraday, one week and month charts.
