(NASDAQ: TSCN) announced today the launch of wireless applications that will allow consumers to receive financial information in an entirely new format. Beginning today, exclusive investment content from INVESTools.com and WallStreetCity.com will be available via Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) enabled cell phones and handheld Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs).
The wireless Palm(TM) application is available for download at www.investools.com/wireless and provides access to both INVESTools and WallStreetCity Website content, including the INVESTools Advisory-- a daily digest of actionable stock picks and investment advice from the market's top-performing advisors -- and WallStreetCity's ProSearch(TM), stock quotes, market data, and news. The application supports Palm VII and modem-equipped Palm V PDA's and provides real-time access from most major metropolitan areas.
WAP-enabled cell phone users will be able to access the same information by going to: phone.investools.com and following simple instructions using their phone key pad. Millions of cell phone users in the US and Europe will now have convenient wireless access to INVESTools and WallStreetCity(TM) proprietary content without a computer.
Users of AvantGo, a free software application that bridges the gap between the Internet and mobile technologies, can have both the INVESTools Advisory Stock Digest and WallStreetCity's ProSearch(TM) stock screens downloaded automatically when they synchronize their device. The free AvantGo software (available at www.avantgo.com) supports most handheld devices and PDAs.
